They do not want the military power of the US to dwindle as the American False Prophet President will use it's strength, technology and power to enable the Little Horn Antichrist to rule the nations of the world, that is divided into ten regions by the United Nations with ten horns/kings, from the coming capital city of the world, that being the great city of Jerusalem, Israel. The elites in the US military have been systematically weeding out those in the military who will not support fighting under the auspices of the United Nations for well over fifteen years now!

One main focus is to subject the American people to world socialism and rob them through taxation to the point of revolution, so that the traitorous government can declare martial law and kill all those who still refuse to go under the dictates of the United Nations for the betterment of the world, and those that wish to hold on the nationalistic sovereignty of the US.  That is something our leaders have given up on years ago for power and money!!

The ultimate reason for World War III is to ultimately bring most of the world to a state of utter hopelessness due to the massive annilation of millions of people via famine and war, along with the mass destruction of the planet as a result of nuclear wars, and to thusly accept the New World Order of things, including the mark of the beast and his number 666!

Of course the Arab countries will resist this to the bitter end, as they have their own version of who will win and rule, such as the 12th Imam according to the President of Iran..

However, Messiah Yahshua the Anointed ONE of True Israel and HIS followers, THE SONS OF YAH will ultimately take the kingdom and rule with HIM forever.

The beginning of World War III, in my estimation is clearly given in (Daniel 8:2) the vision given to Daniel about Elam (Iran) and the western power (Daniel 8:5), which is  the he-goat and ram vision of the US destroying Persia (Iraq, Iran and Syria).

The nations are already being manipulated into the final ten regions to be ruled over by the little horn antichrist who will surface from Tyre, Lebanon ( prince of Tyrus ppt), during or after World War III's beginning skirmish including the USA, Israel, Iraq which will fall into the hands of the Iranians after the American troop withdrawal, Iran and Syria, which will be the next dominoes to probably fall (Isaiah 17:1) as well as the Hezbollah in Lebanon (Zech. 9:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in the upcoming NATO led military strike, after the already earlier transition of Egypt, Libya and Tunisia to the Muslim Brotherhood after the "Arab Spring" and the later elections or military takeovers. 

And how will this all begin?  That's a good question!  Israel may launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran's nuclear facilities and thus provoke Syria, the Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Hamas from the Gaza Strip to attack Israel as Syrian President Assad has already said, which will lead the USA into the conflict via NATO or alone for that matter.    

Make no mistake!  Regardless of who may ignite World War III, it will become nuclear and even though Persia (Iraq, Iran, Syria and Lebanon) will be destroyed, the rest of the Middle East and Northern Africa (Region #7) will continue the Jihad for another two and a half years, even after the antichrist little horn, prince of Tyrus, from Tyre, Lebanon (Ezek.28:2) comes to World power after Persia's demise, and declares himself to be a god! (Ezek. 28:9) (Rev. 13:6) (Dan.11:36, 37)
